Chud2Chad is currently a controlled beta. We collect the data needed to run the app: signed anonymous session IDs, age confirmation, practice settings, selected venues, location search results, AI persona context, practice messages, outcomes, debriefs, support reports, safety reports, device/browser details, approximate request location from hosting headers, and usage events.
If you send a support request, we collect the contact handle or email you choose to provide. Web subscription checkout is processed by Stripe. We receive payment status, customer IDs, subscription IDs, and plan metadata. We do not store card numbers.
We use data to provide practice reps, generate AI replies and debriefs, enforce limits, prevent abuse, debug issues, respond to support requests, process payments, improve app quality, and review safety reports. We do not sell personal information.
We use trusted processors to operate the beta, including Venice AI for AI replies and debriefs, Airtable or a configured webhook for beta telemetry and support review, Stripe for web payments, Vercel for hosting, and Foursquare/OpenStreetMap/Nominatim/Overpass for venue and geocoding data when those features are used.
Practice messages and context are sent to AI providers to generate replies and debriefs. We do not use your practice conversations to train our own external model. Provider processing is limited to delivering the service under their applicable terms.
Progress, streaks, and some settings are stored locally in your browser. Beta telemetry, support requests, safety reports, and conversation review data may be stored with our processors while the beta is active and retained as needed for safety, fraud prevention, support, tax, payment, and legal obligations.
You can clear local beta data from the in-app support panel. You can also request access, correction, deletion, or consent withdrawal by contacting us. Because the current beta uses anonymous browser sessions, include your support contact, beta session details, or any checkout email so we can find matching records. We process deletion requests within 30 days unless retention is required for legal, tax, fraud, or payment reasons.
Chud2Chad is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
This service is not directed at children. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@turostudio.com and we will take immediate action.
